A fire damper fabricator is a company that manufactures and sells fire dampers. These dampers are used in commercial buildings to prevent fires from spreading.
The qualifications for becoming a fire damper fabricator depend on the specific trade or occupation. Some common requirements include an associate's degree in Fabrication, Metalworking, Engineering, or related field; experience working with metal and plastic materials; knowledge of welding techniques; and proficiency using CAD software.
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints
-Strong math skills, including algebra and geometry
-Working knowledge of welding methods (welding arc, MIG/TIG)
-Good hand eye coordination
