A food and beverage supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all restaurant staff are properly trained in the safe handling of food and drink. They also ensure that all menus comply with health codes, maintain accurate records of sales, order supplies as needed, and keep an eye on inventory levels to avoid over-ordering or under-stocking.
The qualifications for a food and beverage supervisor include experience in the restaurant or catering industry, knowledge of wine and beer styles, excellent customer service skills, strong organizational abilities.
The skills required to be a Food and Beverage Supervisor vary depending on the job position.
