What is a Graphic Designer?

A graphic designer is a professional who designs graphics, including logos, advertisements, packaging and signage. What qualifications are required to become a Graphic Designer?

1. A degree in Graphic Design is necessary, but not a requirement. Many graphic designers have degrees from art schools or design colleges, but there are many who do not.

2. Experience working with and manipulating images on computer screens is essential for most graphic designers, although some may also have experience creating printed materials or logos.

What are the skills required to become a Graphic Designer?

1. Excellent design skills, including creativity and critical thinking 2. Strong understanding of typography and layout 3. Experience working with Adobe Photoshop or another graphic design program 4. Knowledge of web development tools such as HTML/CSS 5. Understanding of brand identity and how to create it
