What is a GRP Laminator?

A GRP laminator is a type of thermal press that uses the heat from an electric heating element to laminate materials such as paper, plastic, and metal. The machine consists of two heated plates that contact the material to be laminated between them. The pressure applied by the plates causes the adhesive on one side of each sheet to melt into its neighboring sheets, creating a strong joint between them.

What qualifications are required to become a GRP Laminator?

1. Must be have a minimum of an Associate's degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience

2. Experience with laminating machines is preferred

3. Familiarity with Photoshop, Inkscape and GIMP are beneficial

4. Excellent attention to detail and strong problem solving skills are necessary

5. Ability to work independently as well as under pressure
