A Gypsum Carpenter is a tradesperson who installs gypsum board and plaster walls, ceilings, and other types of drywall.
The qualifications for becoming a Gypsum Carpenter vary depending on the specific occupation. However, generally most gypsum carpenters will need at least an associate's degree in carpentry or construction management from a accredited trade school. Some may also require certification through the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) or American Craft Council (ACC).
