A hairdresser is someone who cuts, styles, and colors hair. They may also offer other services such as scalp treatments or waxing.

What qualifications are required to become a Hairdresser?

1. A hairdresser must be able to use a variety of tools and techniques to style hair, including blow dryers, flat irons, curling irons and hot rollers.

2. Hairdressers need good communication skills because they work with clients one-on-one.

3. They typically have at least an associate's degree in cosmetology or another related field such as beauty therapy or biology/pharmacology).

4. Some states require certification from the National Board of Cosmetology (NBC), which is offered through community colleges or professional schools that offer programs in cosmetology .

5. Many hairdressers also hold licenses from state boards of barbershop associations (SBBA) which allow them to provide cutting services on men’s heads
