What is a Handbag Repairing Technician?

A handbag repairing technician is someone who repairs and refurbishes purses, backpacks, totes and other handbags. They may also do alterations such as adding new straps or buttons to a purse. Often times this job requires special knowledge in sewing techniques which can make it difficult for a novice to get the same results that an experienced technician would. In addition, many technicians work with different types of fabrics which can require them to have specific tools and skillsets in order to properly repair a bag.
