Job Description

Design and update job descriptions Source potential candidates from various online channels (e.g. social media and professional platforms like StackOverflow and Behance) Craft recruiting emails to attract passive candidates Screen incoming resumes and application forms Interview candidates (via phone, video and in-person) Prepare and distribute assignments and numerical, language and logical reasoning tests Advertise job openings on company’s careers page, social media, job boards and internally Provide shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers Send job offer emails and answer queries about compensation and benefits Monitor key HR metrics, including time-to-fill, time-to-hire and source of hire Participate in job fairs and host in-house recruitment events Collaborate with managers to identify future hiring needs Act as a consultant to new hires and help them onboard Maintaining internal records, which may include preparing, issuing and filing company documentation (e.g. sick leave, maternity leave, etc.). Acting as the first point of contact for all personnel queries. Setting up interviews and corresponding with prospective employees in a timely manner. Requirements and skills 1-3 years of proven HR experience -Proven work experience as an HR Recruiter or similar role Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases Experience with sourcing techniques Solid verbal and written communication skills Sound judgement Bachelors or Masters in Human Resources Management,

What is a HR Assistant?

A HR Assistant is a position in human resources that assists with the management of employees and their records. They may also be responsible for providing training, developing policies, or managing employee files.

What qualifications are required to become a HR Assistant?

1. A degree in human resources or business administration is required, as are experience working with HR files and databases, preparing reports, and handling employee relations issues.

2. Good communication skills are a must -HR assistants need to be able to relay messages accurately and effectively to employees, managers, or other stakeholders.

3. Strong computer literacy is essential -HR assistants need the ability to use various software applications for tracking employee data and managing records efficiently.

4. Previous experience working in a customer service role would also be beneficial – many HR assistant positions entail answering phone inquiries from employees or clients about their benefits package or leave requests etc., so having good listening comprehension skills will come in handy here too!

5. Finally, an innate sense of organization is key – while most duties associated with being a HR Assistant don’t require heavy lifting (unless you count filing!), it can still help if the individual has excellent file-management abilities so that all relevant information is easy to locate when needed
