Job Description

Working as a part of an exciting and forward-looking management team, the HR Coordinator will provide a proactive and technically sound general HR service to facilitate legal compliance, implement best practices and advance HR strategy by working closely with key stakeholders. The objective of this role is to make sure support with recruitment and retention of staff in terms of skills and knowledge, which training and development opportunities are available to colleagues to reinforce their performance, and thus achieve the school’s goals. The role also will support the event and implementation of policies and procedures to make sure that operational support, key projects and value-added initiatives are maximized within the school and therefore the organization, developing measures and analyzes in order that the HR function is effective and efficient and fosters the varsity spirit of best practice and continuous development. Major accounts: • Be the primary point of contact for general HR inquiries from employees and other stakeholders. • Support the manager with employee recruitment, which incorporates developing job descriptions and private specifications, preparing job advertisements, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates. • Managing the TES recruitment portal. • Single Central Record (SCR) management and SCR tracker. • Conduct background checks on all employees before confirming employment. • Preparing work contracts and ensuring that signature procedures and related papers are completed before they’re issued. • Managing and updating the human resource management data system and employee absence records. • Managing the medical insurance firm for workers and issuing medical cards. • Manage changes within the worker handbook in line with regional approvals. • Maintain personnel records and related documents. • Maintain accurate and effective electronic and soft files (where appropriate) of HR policies and procedures and document HR model and HR process maps. • Support SLT with employee relations issues. Initiate appropriate policy if necessary. • Take notes at formal meetings held within the school, for instance performance-related meetings, investigation meetings, disciplinary meetings, etc. • Advise on wages and other benefits, including contractual benefits. • Compile payroll data and support the payroll function. • Interpretation and advice on UAE labor law. • Plan and infrequently deliver training, including induction sessions for brand spanking new employees. Organizing induction schedules for brand spanking new employees. • Review employee safety and welfare procedures and therefore the company’s well-being. • Representing the varsity within the community and recruiting events. • Supervising social events for workers.
