What is a Junior Electrician?

A Junior Electrician is someone who has completed an apprenticeship and is now working towards becoming a journeyman electrician. A Journeyman Electrician has completed additional training and experience beyond the apprentice level.

What qualifications are required to become a Junior Electrician?

1. A Junior Electrician should have a high school diploma or equivalent.

2. They should be able to read and write well, as electrical wiring is often in tight spaces with little room for error.

3. Prior experience working with electric circuits is ideal; however, not everyone who applies will have this prior experience.

4. Basic math skills are also necessary, as calculations involving volts and amps can get complicated quickly!

5 . Applicants must pass an apprenticeship program that includes on-the-job training under the supervision of a qualified electrician
