A Kitchen Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring that the kitchen at a restaurant or foodservice operation runs smoothly by coordinating and overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations. This includes managing staff, planning menus, ordering supplies, tracking inventory levels, and monitoring quality control. A Kitchen Operations Manager typically also oversees financial matters related to the kitchen such as budgeting and billing.
The kitchen operations manager must have experience in the food service industry, strong organizational skills and a clear understanding of kitchen management principles. They also need to be able to effectively communicate with staff members and oversee daily tasks.
