About the Position: AE7 Dubai is looking for a Site Landscape Architect to work on temporary basis. Preferred candidates must have experience / expertise in multidisciplinary projects of various sizes and scale. Preference for own visa candidate. About AE7: AE7 is a multi-disciplinary design firm with more than 500 creative professionals based in 7 offices across the globe. The firm works on a variety of projects, including: Master Planning, Destination Developments, Healthcare, Hospitality, Higher Education, Residential, Civic, Commercial, and Infrastructure. Role Definition Reporting to: Resident Engineer Responsibilities: • Conduct site supervision and inspection to ensure the design, material and site works are followed correctly. • Check material submittals from contractor, related to hard landscape and soft landscape to ensure the materials are correct and as per the specified material specification. • Review and check contractor shop drawing details before officially executing it to the site to ensure the drawings are correct, buildable and as per the scope of works. • Planning and preparing interim payment reports facilitating good relations with local municipalities. • Attend site coordination progress meetings with the client/client representative, contractors, project manager and other consultants involved in the project to discuss the proposed landscape conceptual design intent. • Reviews and analyzes details drawings and plans to ensure the quality of work and project feasibility. • Coordinate with Architects, Structural, MEP and other disciplines. • Select and prepare landscape material like hard landscape and plants species. • Makes recommendations and solutions to problems occurred during the construction. Qualities & skills required: Essential: • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the field of Landscape Design Architecture • Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape, Urban Design or Architecture. • Strong knowledge of Codes, ADA and Zoning requirements that can impact planning and design • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team. • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to use some of the following: AutoCAD, Civil 3d, Sketch up, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) All candidate submissions should be in PDF format (under 10MB) with applicant’s name in the filename.

A. A degree in landscape engineering is required
B. Experience working with landscapes is a plus
C. Knowledge of horticulture and plant science are helpful tools for the job

Job Summary The Landscape Engineer is responsible for managing a portfolio of maintenance clients and managing new landscape installations. This will be a combined role of the typical enhancement Engineer and an account Engineers roles. He/She will supervise all field personnel as required to successfully complete the project on schedule and within budget. Individuals with excellent communication, customer service, landscape management, and landscape installation skills. Must be able to oversee landscape installations, design tasks, manage, communicate, and coordinate activities of subcontractors and in-house employees. This will be a full-time permanent position. Core Responsibilities • Coordinates and supervises all landscape installation and maintenance activities, including but not limited to understanding the sale and value creation expected, creating project schedules, mitigating risks, delivering such that customers become raving fans, managing up and laterally with team members, and the like • Directs all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications • Involvement with hiring, training, and developing team members • Orders materials as necessary throughout the process • Develop and maintains positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and BWS team members • Prepares, schedules and supervises completion of a final punch list • Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately • Ensures all company team members and contractors are adhering to the company safety policy • Maintains and organizes job sites, office storage facility, and equipment • Conducts customer survey at conclusion of project with objective of exceeding customer expectations and creating referrals Communication: • Provides thorough, timely, and effective communication • Builds open and honest relationships • Listens to and respect team members, clients, and vendors • Values constructive criticism Teamwork: • Builds productive, long-term relationships with clients, vendors, and others • Commits to common goals based on open and honest communication • Works together to bring out the best from our combined talents • Inspires others to maximize their potential
