A landscaping supervisor is responsible for the overall look of a property and oversees all aspects of landscape design, installation, and maintenance. They typically have experience in horticulture or forestry and may also have knowledge about irrigation systems, soils, plant biology, etc. A landscaping supervisor helps to create an aesthetically pleasing environment that meets the needs of both the property owner/manager and their tenants/residents. In addition to overseeing landscapes onsite, a supervising designer will often work with architects or clients to develop conceptual plans for entire complexes or gardens.
