1. A language teacher is someone who helps students learn a new language by teaching them how to speak, write and read it.
2. They often have degrees in linguistics or education, and usually work with children aged 6-12 years old.
3. Language teachers use a variety of methods to help their students improve their skills, including group classes, one-on-one lessons and workshops .
4. Most languages can be learned within 3 months if the student is dedicated enough - but some take up to 2 years!
5. Finally, language teachers are essential for people who want to travel around the world – many countries do not have English as its official language , so learning another one can make communication much easier
1. A college degree in language teaching is required.
2. Certification as a certified teacher of languages, or an equivalent certificate, may be desirable.
3. Previous classroom experience in a foreign language is preferred but not necessary for success as a teacher of that language.
4 Good writing and speaking skills are essential; fluency in the target language is also helpful but not mandatory.
5 Experience working with children or adolescents should be included among the assets possessed by any prospective Language Teacher
