What qualifications are required to become a Light Driver?

1. A valid driver’s license is required.

2. Light Drivers must have a Class B or C Commercial Driver License (CDL).

3. Ability to read, write and understand the English language fluently is necessary for light drivers only if they are operating in Canada; other countries may require a translation certificate from an approved translator if their native language does not form part of the official government transcript/translation program of that country.

4. Attendance at Hazardous Materials Training School as well as successful completion of CBSA pre-employment drug screening test are both mandatory for all new hires who will be working with hazardous materials on board commercial motor vehicles operated within Canadian borders . 5 The minimum age requirement varies depending upon your province but generally range from 18 years old to 25 years old

What are the skills required to become a Light Driver?

1. Must have a valid driver's license.

2. Strong sense of observation and awareness while driving, able to judge distances accurately and respond quickly in emergency situations.

3. Good spatial reasoning skills - can orient themselves in the environment around them, understand how traffic works, anticipate turns and routes ahead on the roadways they are travelling on, etc.- as well as good manual dexterity/coordination required for operating light vehicles safely at high speeds over long distances (i e.: braking / accelerating).

4 Flexible schedule that allows you to work nights or weekends when necessary; excellent attention span & concentration levels needed during periods of intense activity such as driving under difficult lighting conditions with other drivers racing towards one another (from red lights turning green), reacting swiftly should an issue arise along the route,.

5 Can handle stress associated with fast-paced occupation - must be ready to potentially cope with extended hours working night shifts or long days behind the wheel
