A logistics assistant is a professional who helps with the logistical aspects of running a business. They might help organize and manage inventory, coordinate shipping, or handle any other related tasks.
1. A minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required;
2. Must be able to read, write, and understand English fluently;
3. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) a plus;
4. Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment;
5. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
The skills required to become a Logistics Assistant include: excellent organizational and communication skills, knowledge of shipping and transportation processes, proficiency in Microsoft Office products, experience working with computers and software programs.
