A logistics coordinator is responsible for the efficient flow of goods and materials within an organization. They work with managers to create a system that meets the needs of both customers and employees. A logistics coordinator also coordinates transportation, storage, and distribution systems to ensure products arrive on time and in appropriate condition.
1. Knowledge of transportation and delivery systems.
2. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
3. Experience in logistics or supply chain management is a plus but not required for this position.
4. Excellent communication and coordination abilities are necessary as the coordinator will be working closely with various departments within an organization to ensure timely shipments occur, both internally and externally..
