A logistics coordinator may also manage inventory levels, coordinate transportation resources or develop marketing plans for product shipments.

What qualifications are required to become a Logistics Coordinator?

1. Proven experience in logistics or a related field

2. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

3. Ability to multi-task and work independently as well as collaboratively

4. Knowledge of automated shipping systems, including UPS, FedEx, USPS etc., is beneficial

5. Familiarity with computers (word processing, spreadsheet software)
