A Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the flow of material and equipment in an organization. They may also be responsible for ensuring that products are delivered on time, properly packaged, and in accordance with safety regulations.
A bachelor's degree in a related field is often required for Logistics Coordinators. Additionally, many employers may require experience working within the logistics industry and/or certification from an accredited organization such as The Professionallogistics Association (PLA). Many coordinators also have relevant training provided by organizations like UPS or FedEx. Finally, good communication and organizational skills are essential for this position.
