What is a Maintenance Electrician?

They are typically responsible for inspecting all of the building's wiring systems and making any necessary repairs. Additionally, they may be tasked with keeping equipment such as HVAC units running smoothly by performing regular maintenance checks.

What qualifications are required to become a Maintenance Electrician?

A Maintenance Electrician must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be certified in safety and health by the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), pass an electrical code inspection, possess 3 years of experience working with electricity, know how to read diagrams and schematics.
