What is a Mason

A Mason is a member of the Freemasons. A Masonic Lodge is where Masons meet to learn about their beliefs and traditions. As a Mason, you make contributions to your community through charitable work or social events. You also have the opportunity to gain skills such as carpentry, masonry construction, landscaping, tile laying and more!

What qualifications are required to become a Mason

A. A man must be of the age of 21 or older

B. He should have been initiated into a Lodge somewhere in North America

C. He should have passed an examination on Masonry

D. He must believe in God as we do and be qualified to become a member of the Church

The skills required to become a Mason (General) include being able to read and write, having an understanding of the scriptures, being physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time, knowing how to lead by example, possessing a good sense of humor, and being willing to learn.
