A Mechanical Technician is a technician who specializes in the repair and maintenance of machines, including engines, turbines, motorsports equipment and manufacturing machinery. They also may work with pneumatics systems and controls. A Mechanical Technician typically has a degree in mechanical engineering or another related field.
1. A Mechanical Technician should have a minimum of an associate's degree in mechanical engineering or another related field.
2. They must be able to install, maintain, and repair machinery using their hands and basic tools.
3. The technician should also be knowledgeable in safety guidelines for working with machinery, as well as understand the principles behind mechanics and thermodynamics . 4. Finally, they should possess excellent problem-solving skills so that they can resolve issues on machines quickly and efficiently
