What is a MEP Technician?

A MEP Technician is a person who has knowledge and experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of metal electrical equipment. They may also have some knowledge of welding and cutting metals.

What qualifications are required to become a MEP Technician?

1. Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent.

2. Must be able to read, write and use basic computer skills.

3. Experience in the printing or publishing industry is preferred but not required.

4. Basic knowledge of computers and software programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel will be advantageous but not necessary for employment as an MEP Technician .
