A MEP Technician is a technician who specializes in the installation and repair of metal fabrications. They might work on things like bridges, skyscrapers, or wind turbines.
A person who wants to become a MEP Technician must have at least an Associate's degree or higher in engineering technology. They also need experience working with computers and software, as well as knowledge of electrical wiring and systems.
-An ability to read, write and understand technical documents
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Proven experience in basic computer functions such as internet research, word processing etc.
-A good sense of detail and attention to accuracy when working with computers
-Basic engineering knowledge (electrical/mechanical), problem solving abilities
