A merchandiser is a person who sells products, usually in retail stores. They are responsible for stocking the store with the right merchandise and helping customers find what they're looking for. Merchandisers also work to keep the store clean and organized so that shoppers can easily find what they need.
1. A merchandiser must have excellent customer service skills and be able to communicate with customers in a clear and concise manner.
2. Merchandise must appeal to the target market, so knowledge of fashion trends is also essential.
3. Good organizational skills are necessary as a merchandise manager will need to track inventory levels and make strategic decisions about where products should be placed on shelves or sold online.
4. The ability to think creatively is important, as merchandisers often come up with new ideas for product promotions or designs that can attract shoppers' attention.
