A milling machine operator is responsible for the proper function of a milling machine, ensuring product quality and accuracy. They may also be responsible for keeping the machinery clean and running smoothly.
A milling machine operator needs to have a background in machinery, knowledge of how to operate the machines and be able to read schematics. They also need good hand-eye coordination and must be able to work under pressure.
-Must have excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Must be able to read, understand machine instructions and operate machinery safely
- Knowledge of milling process is a must for this position
- Experience operating mills or other industrial machines desirable
