A North Indian cook is someone who specializes in cooking cuisine from the region of India that lies north of the subcontinent. This includes dishes such as tandoori chicken, naan bread, and masala dosa.
1. A North Indian Cook must be proficient in the Hindi language and have a good knowledge of Indian cuisine.
2. They must also have experience working with spices and know how to prepare various dishes using them.
3. The cook should be able to handle themselves professionally, being organized and having strong work ethic.
4. Lastly, they should possess excellent hygiene skills as many traditional North Indian kitchens are extremely dirty environments!
The skills required to become a North Indian Cook are good observation, critical thinking, problem solving, communication and teamwork.
