1. A Certificate of Qualifications in Pipefitting from a recognized education institution

2. Two years' experience as a pipe fitter, including at least one year working on pipelines

3. Knowledge of mathematics and survey methods for planning piping systems

4. Good communication and problem solving skills

5. Ability to work independently

What are the skills required to become a Pipe Fitter?

1. Experience with pipefitting and welding is required.
