What is a Plastic Surgeon?

A Plastic Surgeon is a doctor who specializes in surgery on the face, neck and breasts.

What qualifications are required to become a Plastic Surgeon?

1. A medical doctor with at least three years of experience in surgery, preferably specializing in plastic surgery.

2. Advanced training in microsurgery and reconstruction techniques, including advanced botulinum toxin injection procedures.

3. Excellent surgical skills and experience performing complex reconstructive surgeries such as breast augmentation or tummy tuck Surgery).

4. Experience working on patients who have significant scars from prior surgeries (the more extensive the scars, the better).

5.. Must be able to effectively communicate with patients and their families during recovery periods

What are the skills required to become a Plastic Surgeon?

1. Excellent surgical skills and knowledge in general surgery.

2. Experience with plastic surgery procedures, including but not limited to breast reconstruction, rhinoplasty, liposuction etc.

3. Strong technical abilities in the use of various medical equipment such as microscopes and scalpels

4. Exceptional organizational skills - able to keep track of multiple patients at once while performing complex surgeries

5. Expertise in dealing with difficult cases or emergencies - be able to remain calm under pressure
