Project Engineer Job in Dubai

We are looking urgently for an experienced Fire alarm Fire fighting system project engineer with a manual driving license for handling fire safety installation projects for our company in Oman and has experience in preparing Fire alarm fire fighting system drawings in Autocad 2D and has knowledge about NFPA and civil defense safety code. Applicants should be able to join immediately. The candidate should have the ability to install and maintain different types of fire alarm systems, such as Addressable fire alarm systems and conventional fire alarm systems. Responsibilities 1. The Project Engineer is responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines of ongoing projects and will establish inspection criteria for the proper implementation of all the elements of a project. 2. The project engineer to assist with the scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing, and managing of technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality. 3. Ensure adequate resource planning to meet the project’s contractual requirements. 4. Monitor shaft readiness and ensure shafts dimensions are as per approved shop drawings. 5. Completes all the tasks required and requested and reports their status during the weekly meeting and as per the requirement of the site. 6. Testing and Commissioning, Maintenance of Fire Fighting, Fire Suppression, and Fire Pump. 7. Supervision of Fire Fighting, Fire Suppression, and Fire Pump Installation. 8. Shop drawings, Technical submittal, Material sample, Method statement & Inspection, and Test Plan approval. 9. Coordination with supply chain to ensure local materials are ordered and available in a timely manner. 10. Handover the units to customers in line with Company’s policy and project requirements. 11. Coordinated with internal supporting departments (local engineering team, factory team, supply chain, finance) on all relevant areas to fulfill project deliveries. 12. Plan risk assessment prior to hoisting and rigging and other critical activities. 13. Follow up on installation progress through Projects and excel spreadsheet as required. 14.Testing and Commissioning, Maintenance of Fire Fighting, Fire Suppression, and Fire Pump. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. The candidate has 3 -5 years of experience in sales of Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm systems products and projects in Dubai Having close business relations with MEP, Main Contractors & Consultants is a routine responsibility in building a business Having a good knowledge of Fire Detection & Protection systems, UAE Safety codes, Defence regulations & NFPA knowledge Has a significant sales experience in a Similar field Working experience in UAE Language skills Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic. Arabic is highly desirable.
