What is a Purchase Manager?

A Purchase Manager is responsible for ensuring that the company's purchasing process meets customer and budget objectives. The manager establishes purchase specifications, reviews supplier proposals, negotiates contracts, monitors vendor performance and coordinates procurement with other business functions.
