A QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products meet defined quality and compliance requirements. They may also play a role in the development of test plans, procedures and standards. In some cases, they may work with product developers to identify defects early in the design process.
The qualifications for a QA/QC Engineer vary depending on the position, but typically they will have a degree in engineering or computer science and experience working with software testing and quality assurance. They may also have experience working with code review or development processes.
1. Excellent communication and problem solving skills
2. Strong experience with software testing tools, such as Selenium or WebDriver
3. Knowledge of source code management (SCM) systems, like Git or SVN
4. Experience working in a bug-free environment using automated tests to discover and fix defects
5. Understanding of basic computer science concepts
