What is a QC Welding Inspector?

A QC Welding Inspector is responsible for inspecting the quality of welds on products. They use a variety of methods to test the strength and integrity of welds, including measuring how much heat is required to break them down.

What qualifications are required to become a QC Welding Inspector?

1. A degree in welding or a related field is required.

2. Experience as a welder is preferred, but not necessary.

3. Knowledge of inspection practices and procedures for welds is essential, along with the ability to use basic tools such as calipers and rulers.

4. QC Welding Inspectors must be able to take accurate measurements and interpret results using common welding standards .
