A quality controller is a person who ensures that products meet specific quality standards. This includes ensuring that the materials used in products are of high quality, and that the manufacturing process is accurate and efficient. Quality controllers also monitor QC tests to ensure product consistency.
A person with at least a bachelor's degree in business, engineering or quality control is generally required to become a Quality Controller (Manufacturing). Most employers also require that applicants have experience working in manufacturing and/or have gone through an accredited certification program. Typically, the responsibilities of a Quality Control Manager include ensuring that products are manufactured using consistent standards and procedures throughout the production process. They may also be responsible for conducting evaluations of processes and materials to ensure they meet specifications.
The skills required to become a Quality Controller (Manufacturing) include experience in quality management, manufacturing processes, statistical analysis, and computer software. Additionally, the candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills.

Basic Description of Role: Responsible for performing day-to-day inspections in alignment with the inspection plan Conduct inspection activities (including first article inspection ) in accordance with inspection plans Record and maintain inspection results Ensure use of calibrated equipment for inspection Support production in resolving queries with customer information Coordinate identification, segregation and disposition of non-conforming product, including internal scrap, rework, concessional items and customer returns.
