A real estate agent is a professional who helps people buy, sell and manage properties. They work with clients to find the best property for their needs and can provide valuable advice on matters such as financing or negotiating contracts. In some cases, agents may also take part in showings or negotiations themselves.
A real estate agent must have a degree in Real Estate from an accredited school. They also need to pass the National Association of Realtors® (NAR) Property Management Examination and be licensed in their state. Additionally, they should have experience working with clients and must be comfortable speaking English fluently.
