A retail executive is responsible for the financial and operational success of a retailer. They are in charge of developing strategies, overseeing operations, and managing budgets. Some common responsibilities include marketing materials design, merchandising decisions, pricing strategy development and execution as well as inventory management.
1. Experience in retail management or sales.
2. Familiarity with computer systems and inventory control software programs such as Point of Sale (POS) Systems, SAP, etc.
3. Proven ability to lead a team of employees and manage budgets effectively.
4. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are essential for this position due to the high level interaction that is required with customers on a daily basis
5 Expertise in marketing techniques including product development, store layout/design, merchandising strategies
