Transguard Group is recruiting Room Attendant Duties: (Guest Room Valet) for Atlantis. Scope: The role of a Housekeeping Attendant is to clean, service, supply, and provide turndown service for guest rooms. To also ensure guests are provided with a high level of comfort during their stay. Job Responsibility: Clean, replenish, maintain, and prepare guests' rooms as per each Hotels standard. Meet and greet guests in a polite and friendly manner. Use and maintain all chemicals, supplies, and equipment carefully and as per each Hotels standard. Vacuum and mop floors, clean/disinfect guest bathrooms to a high standard and make guests' beds daily/change the bedding as required. Replace towels, soaps, and other guest room amenities. Shampoo carpets and upholstered furniture. Empty hotel room garbage bins daily. Move and position the cleaning trolley in the guest corridor as per each Hotels standard ensuring a safe and hazard-free area. Carry out and complete daily task control sheet as per each Hotels standard. Undertake the full sequence of services to clean a Hotel room. Ensure the complete number of credits to clean rooms per day is completed as per each Hotels standard. Report all malfunctioning tools, incidents, and guest room issues to the Supervisor on duty. Report all lost and found objects as per Hotels policy. Report any unusual guest behaviors or activities as per each Hotel's policy. Skills Skills: Chemical and Housekeeping machinery knowledge and experience Safe manual handling techniques Solid understanding of both the company/client policies and procedures Occupational Health & Safety Card (UAE accreditation) Understanding of the Occupational Health & Safety Legislation and Standards in the UAE Housekeeping sequence of service skills Bedmaking skills Cleaning skills Laundry Skills Must have a strong comprehension of English Must have strong English-speaking skills Must have strong interpersonal skills Must hold strong customer service skills Must be a strong team player Must be able to build rapport with the customer Must be energetic and enthusiastic Must have excellent hygiene and grooming standards Must have the ability to deal with different customers Must have the ability to work under pressure and solve problems Benefits: • X1 free duty meal per day provided by the Hotel • Opportunities to work overtime • Exposure and experience working within a five-star world-class luxury property • Accommodation and transportation provided by Transguard • Medical Insurance provided by Transguard • Return flights to home country • The candidate should preferably have previous experience in a similar role with reputed hospitality organizations.
