A sales engineer is a specialized type of engineer who helps companies sell their products and services. A typical role for a sales engineer involves working with clients to develop proposals, evaluation plans, and contracts. In addition, the sales engineer may be responsible for developing marketing materials or conducting market research. Finally, the sales engineering team member may help manage customer relationships throughout the product lifecycle.
1. The Sales Engineer must have a degree in engineering or management.
2. They should be familiar with sales process and terminology, as well as product knowledge .
3. They need to be able to think on their feet and come up with creative solutions when problems arise .
4. Finally, they need the ability to work effectively under pressure and lead teams of engineers
