Job description (STEEL STRUCTURE & FABRICATION COMPANY ONLY) Sales Engineer duties and responsibilities Meeting, discussing & closure of light/medium / heavy fabricated steel structure. Explore new potential business opportunities and identify new market segments. Formulate and develop sales-related policies & guidelines. Lead and motivate the sales team, assist as needed in negotiating terms with clients. Manage the market research process. Meets new clients and introduces the company. Develop relationships with decision-makers of key accounts through visits. Generate pricing structure; approve discount rates and payment terms & conditions Within his authority. Maintain and manage inquiry database and use the same for issuing reports. Review and analyze estimation output and make sure they are maintained at the required competitive level of the market and business plans for the company. To review recommendation by Head of the estimation on enquires and approve the inquiries to be priced. Initial review of potential job in hand inquiries. Final review of proposal with Head of Estimation. Attend techno-commercial meetings with clients. Negotiate with Clients and obtain orders. Entering into a contract with Clients. Liaison with Client for any commercial issue post order. Sales Manager requirements and qualifications · Must hold Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering with 6+years of Pre-engineered Building Steel Sales Experience across Oil and Gas and Commercial Projects within the Gulf region. · 6-7 years of experience working as a Sales Executive or similar role. · 6-7 years of experience in doing sales. · Proven record of successful deals closed. · Good knowledge of telemarketing and digital marketing. · Great command of MS Office. · Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success. · Critical thinker and problem-solving skills. Team player. Good time-management skills. Great interpersonal and communication skills.
