A salesman is a person who sells products or services. They usually work in an office and try to get people to buy things from them.
Salesman typically need to have strong communication and interpersonal skills. They also need to be able to work independently, take direction well, and stay motivated throughout the sales process.
1. Communication: Salesmen need to be good communicators in order to build relationships and sell their products or services. They must be able to listen carefully, understand customers' needs, and offer solutions that appeal to them.
2. Persistence: It takes a lot of persistence for salesmen to keep trying until they finally close a deal - sometimes it can take dozens of calls or meetings before the sale is made! This ability requires stamina as well as determination.
3. Business Sense: Salesmen need knowledge about business practices and how different products/services fit into an overall marketing strategy in order to successfully pitch their product or service idea(s).
