Krl Transport & Contracting Est. is in search of talented and motivated individuals for the post of Steel Fitter in their office located in UNITED ARAB EMIRATES. They are a DIRECT COMPANY with a team of 51-200 employees working to offer services that ensure the highest standards of quality and perfection.
A steel fitter is a tradesman who specializes in fabricating and installing metal components, such as beams, girders, and plates. Steel fittings are often used to connect different pieces of metal together.
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has determined that the following qualifications are required to become a steel fitter:
-A high school diploma or equivalent.
-Two years experience as a beginner in welding, fabrication, or an allied trade.
-Proof of ability to read and follow blueprints.
1. Skills in mathematics, engineering and physics
2. Basic knowledge of metalworking processes
3. Experience working with metal parts or welding equipment
4. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
5. Ability to read blueprints
