Solanki Building Contracting is in search of talented and motivated individuals for the post of Steel Fitter in their office located in UNITED ARAB EMIRATES. They are a DIRECT COMPANY working to offer services that ensure the highest standards of quality and perfection.
A steel fitter is someone who assembles and fits pieces of metal, typically using welding or riveting techniques. They may work in a factory or on site, installing new parts into existing structures.
A steel fitter needs a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience in the construction industry. They must also have certification from one of the national certifying bodies for welders, fabricators, pipefitters, or structural steelworkers.
1. Strong common sense and attention to detail
2. Ability to read blueprints or schematics
3. Good mechanical skills, including being able to disassemble and assemble parts of equipment
4. Knowledge of steel alloys and their properties
5. Experience working with cutting tools, welding machines, power saws
