A tailor is a person who cuts and mends clothes.

What qualifications are required to become a Tailor?

1. A good eye for detail and a tailor's skill with a needle are essential qualifications for becoming a tailor.

2. Tailors must have some experience sewing clothes, as well as the ability to read patterns and sew efficiently.

3. In order to be licensed in one of the United States, Canada or Mexico, tailors typically need an apprenticeship or two under their belt before they can open up their own shop/business.

4. There is usually quite rigorous testing that prospective tailors must pass in order to become licensed (such as being able to measure accurately using inches and centimeters).

5. Although there is no set hourly wage for tailORSs across different countries, most charge between $10-$25 per hour depending on the location and type of garment being tailored
