What is a Tent Fabricator?

A Tent Fabricator is someone who designs, manufactures and sells tents. They are responsible for ensuring that the tents they produce meet all of the necessary safety requirements as well as meeting customer specifications.

What qualifications are required to become a Tent Fabricator?

1. A minimum of two years experience in fabricating tents or other similar structures is required.

2. Good mathematical and engineering skills are necessary to design a tent that meets specific customer needs.

3. Must be able to work independently with little supervision, as many fabrics must be cut by hand for proper fitment and stability of the structure.

4. Excellent attention to detail is essential for ensuring each tent comes out perfectly- even small inconsistencies can lead to problems down the road such as leaks or windblown rain getting inside the sheltering system during harsh weather conditions .

5..Must have strong manual dexterity and good eye/hand coordination

What are the skills required to become a Tent Fabricator?

1. Strong metalworking skills- tent fabricators will need to be able to cut and weld metal, which is necessary for the fabrication process.

2. Knowledge of sewing techniques- tent fabricators will need to know how to sew fabrics together properly in order to create a sturdy structure.

3. Excellent attention detail- due to the repetitive nature of Tent Fabrication, it's important that every stitch is perfect so as not To damage or tear the material later on..
