What is a Ticketing Staff?

A Ticketing Staff is a person who helps customers with their tickets and ensures that everything goes smoothly during an event. They may be stationed near the entrance of the venue, or in another area where large crowds are likely to congregate. The ticketing staff can help you get your tickets scanned and check them for any damage before handing them over to you. If there is an issue with your ticket, they will be able to assist you in getting it resolved as quickly as possible.

What qualifications are required to become a Ticketing Staff?

1. Someone with experience in the ticketing industry, preferably within a live entertainment setting such as a concert or theater.

2. Excellent customer service skills and an understanding of how to handle difficult customers.

3. Knowledge of computer programs that can be used for ticket sales/processing, such as Microsoft Word and Excel (or similar software).

4. The ability to work independently and take direction when necessary but also have the initiative to make decisions on their own when possible.

5. Basic knowledge of music terminology, especially terms related to concerts or theaters
