A Tig & Arc Welder is a welding machine that uses tungsten electrodes to weld metals together. The welder has an arc-welding function and can be used for both metalworking and fabrication tasks.

What qualifications are required to become a Tig & Arc Welder?

1. A minimum of an associate's degree in welding technology is required to become a Tig & Arc Welder.

2. Experience as a welder is also necessary, although training will be provided on the job.

3. Certification from one of several organizations such as the American Welding Society (AWS) or The Joint Technological Committee for Welding and Brazing (JTCC) may be beneficial.

4.. Ability to read blueprints and follow written instructions are important skills for this position; many companies require certification in basic blueprint reading before hiring welders into their team specifically for arc welding applications only .
