A Tig Welder is a device used for welding metals. It uses an electric arc to create a joint between the two pieces being welded.
-Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
-2 years welding experience in the metal industry.
- competent use of MIG welder, TIG welder and plasma cutter.
- Excellent understanding of metallurgy and fabrication processes.
The skills required to become a Tig Welder vary depending on the level of training that is provided. However, all welders must have basic welding knowledge and equipment in order to start their career as a tig welder. Some commonly required skills include: Good hand-eye coordination
Flexibility and stamina when working under pressure
Knowledge of arc Welding technology
Skillful use of MIG/TIG welding machines
