What is a Tiles Mason?

A tiles mason is a person who installs or repairs tile floors and walls. They may also work with porcelain, granite, stainless steel, and other flooring materials.

What qualifications are required to become a Tiles Mason?

1. A minimum of 3 years experience as a mason is required to become a tiles Mason.

2. Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications and construction drawings are essential for tile Masons.

3. Must be able to use hand tools, including saws, chisels and planes with accuracy in order to cut stone or brick accurately without damaging the surface material or creating excessive dust clouds while working on site.

4 Strong work ethic -Tile Masons must be willing to work long hours under difficult conditions often dealing with wet surfaces that can cause slips and falls which could lead to serious injuries if not properly supervised by an experienced contractor/masonry professional .

5 Excellent problem solving skills necessary for resolving unforeseen issues during construction projects

What are the skills required to become a Tiles Mason?

1. Knowledge of masonry techniques and construction methods

2. Strong work ethic and attention to detail

3. Ability to read plans, drawings, or specifications accurately and communicate with others about same

4. Previous experience working with concrete or other heavy materials is a plus
