What is a Tiles Mason?

A tiles mason is someone who installs and repairs tile floors. They may also be called a tiler, flooring contractor, or terrazzo specialist. A tilesmiths apprenticeship lasts four years and includes training in both the art of installing tile and working with concrete.

What qualifications are required to become a Tiles Mason?

1. A minimum of two years experience in masonry is required to become a tiles Mason.

2. Must be able to read and understand blueprints and drawings accurately

3. Should have good hand-eye coordination, stamina, strength, and precision when working with tools

4. Must be able to work independently as well as part team effort
