What is a Waiter?

A waiter is someone who waits on people in a restaurant. They usually take orders, bring food and drink to customers, clean the tables, and keep track of everyone's tabs.

What qualifications are required to become a Waiter?

1. A good sense of humor is a must, as many customers can be quite demanding.

2. Waiter's skills in handling tableware and wine are essential - it is not uncommon for them to get involved in negotiations with guests about the wine list or food orders.

3. Some knowledge of kitchen basics (sauteing onions, making sauces) would come in handy, since most restaurants have their own chef who will prepare the meals served on the menu item by item.

4 Being able to work quickly under pressure and stay calm when things start going wrong are both important traits for any waiter working at busy times; mistakes made during high-pressure situations can lead to disastrous consequences for an entire restaurant staff!

5 Finally, patience – especially when dealing with difficult customers – is crucial: if a customer isn't happy right away, chances are they won't be content until they're gone!
